These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Zolvio, a Shopify app provided by Zolvio ("we", "our", or "us"). By installing or using Zolvio, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • "App" means the Zolvio Shopify application and related services.
  • "Merchant" means the Shopify store owner or authorized user installing/using the App.
  • "Store Visitors" means end users who visit a Merchant’s storefront.
  • "Merchant Data" means data provided by a Merchant or generated through Merchant use of the App.

1. Service Description

Zolvio is a conversion optimization tool for Shopify stores that provides:

  • Session recording and playback
  • Click and scroll heatmaps
  • AI-powered store audits
  • A/B testing capabilities
  • Guided fix instructions

2. Shopify Relationship

Zolvio is a third-party app that integrates with Shopify. Shopify is not responsible for the App. Your use of Shopify remains governed by Shopify’s terms.

3. Account Requirements

  • You must have an active Shopify store
  • You must be authorized to install apps on the store
  • You must provide accurate information
  • You are responsible for your account security

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Zolvio for any illegal purpose
  • Collect data you don't have rights to collect
  • Attempt to circumvent our security measures
  • Resell or redistribute our service
  • Interfere with other users' access

5. Billing and Payment

  • Billing is handled through Shopify's billing system
  • Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
  • Subscriptions renew automatically
  • You can cancel at any time through Shopify
  • Refunds are handled according to Shopify's policies

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of Zolvio is also governed by our Privacy Policy, Data Policy, and Data Retention Policy. By using Zolvio, you agree to:

  • Inform your visitors about data collection
  • Comply with applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Use collected data responsibly

You are responsible for obtaining any required consents and for updating your storefront policies to disclose analytics, recording, and experimentation tools where required.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Zolvio and its features are our intellectual property
  • You retain ownership of your store data
  • You grant us license to process your data to provide the service

8. Service Availability

  • We strive for high availability but don't guarantee 100% uptime
  • We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice
  • We may modify or discontinue features

9. Disclaimers

Zolvio is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee specific outcomes (including conversion lift), and results may vary based on traffic, theme behavior, third-party apps, and merchant configuration.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Lost profits or revenue
  • Data loss or corruption
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Damages exceeding your fees paid in the last 12 months

11. Termination

  • You can terminate by uninstalling the app
  • We may terminate for Terms violations
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our retention policy

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
